Transformers Insignia Masks. The Autobot one was inspired by "The Face of the Nijika." I painted them in 1988 when I was 15.
They were really fun to make. I traced on the symbols from photcopies and they turned out really nicely. The masks are ceramic - you get them at craft shops.
The Autobot one I painted for art class when they gave us masks to paint. The teacher really lked it. I didn't think she knew it was from Transformers; ) but she wouldn't give me another mask so I bought one with my pocket money and painted the Decepticon one at home - best homework I ever did, hehe
I wasn't the only one who painted Tranformer things for art class. Up on the wall there was a beautiful watercolour of the 1986 scene with Metrolpex. Waah! I should've found out who painted it and asked for a color copy
Thanks, they wre really fun to make. I traced on the symbols fron photcopies and they turned out really nice. The masks are ceramic oens I got from a crafy shop. The Autobot on I did for school, but they wouldn't give me another mask so I did the Decepticon one at home - best homework I ever did
(Now I want one. >.> )
